Rami Malek from ‘Mr. Robot’ Will Play Freddie Mercury in Biopic

2017 Biopic will chronicle one of the greatest rock bands of the 70s

After the debacle and fallout with the incredulous casting choice Sacha Baron Cohen, the upcoming Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has finally landed a more logical choice for the role of Freddy Mercury.

It has been confirmed that Rami Malek, the star of the smash-hit TV show Mr. Robot will play the legendary queen front-man in the film, which is set to be directed by Bryan Singer (Usual Suspects, X-Men). Singer posted the news on his Instagram account hours ago.

The film is set to begin production in 2017 and is sure to be a massive blockbuster in theatres. Sorry Borat.
