UPDATED REPORT: 128 killed in Terrorist attack at Eagles of Death Metal concert in Paris

Horrific Scene Unfolds in France's Capital City

As part of a series of shootings and violence in Paris on Friday night, French officials report 128 people have been killed in the attacks.

At least 80 were killed at the Bataclan, a concert venue where the Eagles Of Death Metal was performing. Although details are not 100% clear, most reports indicate that it was caused by 2-4 armed gunmen, reportedly using automatic weapons. Police eventually raided the venue and killed two armed gunman.

Several people were killed in explosions, which authorities describe as suicide bombings — outside the the Paris football stadium Stade de France with several explosions heard outside the venue that was hosting a match between French and German national teams. Others were killed outside of several restaurants in central Paris. The French President has declared a state of emergency, closing its borders.

Justin Trudeau also made a public video statement denouncing the attacks.

I am shocked and saddened that so many people have been killed and injured in violent attacks in Paris. Canada stands with France.

Eagles of Death Metal is the collaboration between Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age. Homme is not with the band for their European tour. As of this Friday evening the band has not accounted for the safety of all members.
