Some may know Steak Queen for their delicious menu and 24-hour service, but most recognize the name from the infamous video of the former Toronto Mayor, Rob Ford, intoxicated, swearing and speaking in Jamaican patois.

Today, the restaurant is making headlines for a more unfortunate incident.
Fire officials were called to the Steak Queen restaurant, located in Etobicoke, around 1 a.m. on Tuesday (November 8) responding to a call that the building’s roof went up in flames.

Thankfully no injuries were reported, as Toronto Police have stated the restaurant was closed at the time of the fire. They are still investigating the cause of the blaze.

Hopefully the cause of the flames will be determined promptly so Rob Ford can continue to rest in peace.
