Sinéad O’Connor Posts Lengthy Letter to Facebook After Being Reported Missing

Airs out ongoing custody battle and mental health struggles

Shortly after being found by police Monday afternoon, Sinéad O’Connor took to Facebook to post a lengthy message to her family, namely her ex-husband John Reynolds.

O’Connor was reported missing Sunday (May 15) after her friends and family lost contact with her for over a day and a half. She had been last seen Sunday morning 6:00 AM on her bike, and reported as “missing suicidal” by Chicago area police.

O’Connor was later found by police in a nearby hotel and taken to a hospital, and reported as “safe and is no longer listed as a missing/endangered person”.

Shortly after being returned home, Sinéad O’Connor posted a lengthy letter to her family outlining her ongoing custody battle and struggles with mental health. Read below:
