Take a Look at ‘Star Wars Land’ Coming to Disney Parks

Parks expected to open early 2019

Your inner (or outer) geek is screaming right now because Disney has just revealed a first look at the coveted Star Wars land model.

Revealed at the D23 Expo Thursday, Disney revealed a 50-foot scale model of the parks currently being built at both the Walt Disney World in Florida and Disney Land in California. According to Mashable, both parks are expected to open early 2019, and cost around $1 Billion each.

According to a blog published by Disney, “Both Star Wars-inspired lands will transport guests to a never-before-seen planet, a remote trading port and one of the last stops before Wild Space, where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life.”
