Taylor Swift Sends Kanye A Message During Grammys Acceptance Speech

She may forgive but she doesn't forget.

It seems that Kanye West lied when he said to Taylor Swift, “Imma let you finish,” back at the 2009 Grammy Awards. It’s simply the feud that won’t end.

In Kanye’s recent song, “Famous” off his brand new album Life of Pablo, he made a stab at Taylor Swift saying, “For all my Southside n*ggas that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous / God damn / I made that bitch famous.”

Kanye claimed on Twitter that this misogynistic statement was cleared by Swift, when it actually wasn’t.

Swift finally had her moment to address the lyrics during her acceptance speech for “Album of the Year” at the 2016 Grammy Awards. Swift indirectly sent her message to Kanye via her message to all to all women:

“As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice, I wanna say to all the young women out there: There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success, or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you’ll know that it was you and the people who love you that put you there, and that will be the greatest feeling in the world.”
