It’s that time of year again – the Dufferin Gates are closed, traffic doesn’t move, and people line up for hours to try the greasiest, most deep fried food items you can’t find anywhere outside The Ex. But, we’ve decided to help out the indecisive food-lovers of the world: we’ve narrowed the list to 10 must try foods from this year’s CNE.

Two of the world’s best dessert flavours are combined when an Oreo cookie is dipped in red velvet cake batter. And, as if that’s not mouth-watering enough, it’s deep fried and topped with cream cheese icing.

As if grilled cheese isn’t good enough, this aged cheddar and mozzarella concoction is topped with spicy sweet chilli ketchup and wrapped in six bacon strips. Because everything wrapped in bacon is a must eat.
