In the mid ’70’s, the late David Bowie recorded a full length album called The Gouster which was never released – at least, not until now, that is.
Out this week, is Who Can I Be Now? (1974-1976), a new box set that covers everything Bowie did during those years. The 12-disc package is the second in a series of box sets that began with 2015’s Five Years, released just months before his passing. The box set also contains tracks from The Gouster, which was put together from tracks recorded in the run-up to 1975’s Young Americans.
Though some songs from the album have previously been released, this is the first time the world is able to hear The Gouster in it’s entirety.
