Listen: The Shins Release ‘Painting A Hole’

'Heartworms' LP due out March 10th

So far, Portland, Oregon’s seminal indie group The Shins have shared three songs from their upcoming record Heartworms, “Dead Alive“, “Name for You” and most recently “Mildenhall“. Today, the James Mercer lead group released another new track, “Painting a Hole”

It’s a fuzzy, upbeat pop-fused tune; closer to something that we’d expect from a Broken Bells record, but with a little less reliance on the use purely of synths. Check out “Painting a Hole” before it’s released next week, March 10th via Columbia.

You can catch The Shins this summer at WayHome Music and Arts Festival in Oro Medonte, Barrie.
