The Shins Share ‘Name For You’, Announce World Tour

New record Heartworm lands March 10th

The Shins have finally announced their first album since 2012’s Port of Morrow.

March 10th will see the pivotal indie band return with a new record Heartworms. According to a press release, it’s entirely written by James Mercer, and with the exception of “So Now What” (Richard Swift,) it is entirely self-produced as well. The band will also embark on a world tour that month, reaching hot spots North America and Europe.

Following their Halloween themed, “Dead Alive”, the band have shared a new single from the upcoming record, called “Name for You” with an accompanying lyric video. See for yourself below:

Also be sure to tune into “A Prairie Home Companion” on Jan 7th to hear The Shins first 2017 live performance. Heartworms is available to preorder via Aural Apothecary/Columbia Records.
