The Simpsons Predicted Lady Gaga’s Superbowl Halftime Performance Five Years Ago

The Simpsons have done it again: the popular animated show foretold the future years in advance, this time, predicting Lady Gaga’s Superbowl LI Half-Time Performance with scary accuracy.

In the 2012 episode “Lisa Goes Gaga”, The Simpsons pictured Lady Gaga suspended through the air on cables, before setting down and playing piano in one of her signature getups.

Another episode also showed a set of lights in the sky over a football game casting shapes, as Gaga did with the use of drones during the first part of her performance. Some are pointing out the similarity of the hat to the one Gaga wears on the cover of her new album Joanne.
