For anyone hoping for a white Christmas, all hope has been lost for days. Unseasonably warm temperatures continued today in Toronto, soaring to 17 degrees celsius, which is a full 5 degrees warmer than the last record from Christmas Eve 1964 when the high hit just over 12 C.
Also sad to report that Nathan Phillips Square was not open for public skating today due to the soaring temps. What a difference a year makes.
