Tim Curry Joins Cast of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ Remake

The two-hour production is scheduled to air Fall 2016 on Fox.

This past Friday, January 15th, Fox announced that Tim Curry will be joining the cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show remake. Curry will not be seen on screen, rather he’ll be playing the “Criminologist Narrator,” according to The Television Critics Association.

Curry first starred in the live production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in 1973, but it was his performance as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the 1975 film version that propelled his career.

Thus far, the selected cast includes Laverne Cox as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Victoria Justice as Janet, Ryan McCarten as Brad, Reeve Carney as Riff Raff and Adam Lambert as Eddie.

The production will be directed and choreographed by High School Musical‘s Kenny Ortega and is set to premiere this fall.
