Tom Delonge still wants Blink-182 to be a part of his life

Divorce isn't easy you know

In the midst of a split from former bandmates Travis and Mark, ex-Blink-182 co-frontman Tom Delonge recently told NME that he wants the band to still be a part of his life.

Tom has cited that his lack-of involvement with Blink-182 is simply a scheduling one. He is currently working on new Angels & Airwaves, and he mentioned on Instagram that he was co-writing a whopping 15 novels (which has since been removed) and on top of that, his own solo material.

“One of the reasons all this Blink stuff went haywire was because I am in 6 contracts with Best Selling Authors that are co-writing 15 Novels with me personally. Each one has an EP soundtrack that launches with it. I told my manager the contract that was sent to me for the Blink deal contained weird new language that I had to drop all that music for almost a year. I said I couldn’t, but I could record the album in and around those things that were already in the works. He wrote them an email saying I’m out- (I didn’t know- and he was only talking about the deal) next thing you know, a press release saying things I didn’t say. Here we are….. Well…. Read a f*cking book- at least one of mine, please. Christ.”

Angels & Airwaves EP …Of Nightmares will be available this Friday September 4. The first of Tom’s novels, co-written by best-selling author Suzanne Young, named Poet Anderson, … Of Nightmares is set to be released October 6th.
