Toronto’s First Accessible Play Party is Happening this Summer

#DeliciouslyDisabled

People who live with physical disabilities face countless obstacles in their everyday lives. But for one day this August, sex clubs and orgies will no longer be one of them.

Contrary to popular belief, lots of disabled people still have fully active sex drives. So why shouldn’t they be able to participate in an orgy? Organizer Stella Palikarova, in a wheelchair herself, wanted to make this idea a reality.

Deliciously Disabled is a masquerade-themed play party that will allow sex and nudity. There’s lots on the agenda with Music by DJ Ella Vation, raffle prizes, Learn How To Flirt with CoCo La Crème, and a burlesque performance by Tiny B. Hiney.

The event will take place on the last day of the ParaPanAm Games, as Palikarova thinks some of the athletes might want to “unwind” after the events. There will be hydraulic lifts, space for up to 20 wheelchairs, free access for Personal Support Workers, and an interpreter for the deaf.

The masquerade-themed event will be open to able-bodied folks too. Deliciously Disabled will go down August 14th at the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, hosted by Oasis Aqualounge. It will be, of course, fully accessible for everyone.
