Toronto’s New Indoor Ski Slope

Grand opening October 8th

Imagine heading to the slopes this winter, but not having to worry about the weather.

Axis Freestyle Academy is Vaughan’s new indoor dry slope, and it opens just in time for Thanksgiving. This indoor sports vicinity is the first of its kind in Canada, so it’s bound to be a pretty popular scene.

The business, owned by Alex Ching, Simon Chang and Adam Zig, began when Ching was laid off from his IT job in 2014. Along with the dry slope, Axis will feature a 4,000 square-foot trampoline area, which will naturally include foam pits.

They now own a 20,000-square-foot former bath and kitchen depot near Vaughan Mills and are ready to open their project up to the public.

Axis Freestyle Academy opens on Saturday, October 8th, and is located at 356 Four Valley Drive in Vaughan.
