Last night a few Twitter users pointed out that if you search “fascist,” “asshole,” “racist,” or “bigot” on Twitter, president Trump’s Twitter profile is the first thing to come up. His account has recently been removed from these Twitter search results, however, searching “tiny hands” still currently works for anyone who needs a good laugh right now.
A search algorithm was most likely the reason for the results. It is possible that the search results were caused by so many users tweeting similar words in relation to the new President.

It is also possible that a method called “Google bombing” was used to manipulate Twitter’s search algorithms. Google bombing was once used to direct search results for “miserable failure” to George W. Bush’s website.
Twitter has not provided any comments on the matter.
