Uber Delivering Puppy Playdates in Toronto Today

Raising awareness of National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day!

How does a 15 minute puppy playdate during your work day sound?

In honour of National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day, Uber will be bringing Toronto puppies on-demand today from 11am-3pm. Uber has teamed up with rescues and shelters across the city to raise awareness around the need for responsible pet adoption. Play with a puppy for a good cause!

Here’s how to you can get your paws on a puppy:

1. Open up your Uber app on Thursday, April 28 between 11am and 3pm in Toronto

2. Request the “PUPPIES” option in your app (please note: puppies can only be delivered to offices)

3. Once the puppies arrive, you and your colleagues will get to enjoy 15 minutes of canine cuteness! PRO TIP: Make sure to have an enclosed space ready

4. Found your new family member? All are eligible for adoption!

Keep in mind, puppy visits are $30 for 15-minutes. All proceeds are donated to TEAM Dog Rescue, Snookie’s Little Rescue, Dog Tales, Rescue Dog Match, Dire Woofs, Finding Them Homes and Humane Society of Durham Region.
