Born Ruffians have released the second single off their latest album Birthmarks. While their last video for “Needle” was set in the most urban setting imaginable – NYC, this time the lads are in farm-country as we witness the destruction of a grand old barn.
Here is a little write up by the video’s director Mike Juneau.
“The video was shot by me and Kyle McCreight with help from Ruffians Luke and Mitch in a few small towns just outside of Toronto. The significance of the barns collapsing is to demonstrate the cycle of creation. Just like a spider who builds it’s web and has it destroyed we must learn to let go and build again. Whether it’s a 100 year old barn or a week old spider web, nothing lasts forever and we must learn to expect and embrace loss instead of avoid or fear it.“
