Watch: Alvvays do “Archie, Marry Me” at Glastonbury

The Canadian band hits the UK festival scene

Canadian indie pop band Alvvays took the stage at Glastonbury Sunday night with a rocking rendition of their hit “Archie, Marry Me.”

The band spoke earlier about their excitement to be playing such an un-corporate music festival, with non-profits like Oxfam and Greenpeace as its main sponsors. Front woman Molly Rankin also expressed her gratitude for the festival’s connection to historic Britpop: “So many seminal moments came out of this festival. Pulp, Oasis and Blur. Those were all the dudes we adored,” she says.

They, like everyone else in attendance, were pumped to see Kanye close out the night.
