WATCH: Beck and Nirvana Members Perform Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold The World”

"This is for two geniuses that are no longer with us"

Lady Gaga wasn’t the only one to pay tribute to the great David Bowie during the 2016 Grammys week. At producer Clive Davis’ annual Grammy pre-party, Beck and the living members of Nirvana: Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear, covered Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold The World“.

Before the performance began, Beck said, “This is for two geniuses that are no longer with us,” referring to Bowie and Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain. Nirvana had covered “The Man Who Sold The World” in 1993 during their album recording for MTV Unplugged in New York too.
