Star-studded night tributes revered artist's birthday

On Saturday night (December 5th), Kevin Bacon hosted the John Lennon 75th anniversary tribute show at Madison Square Garden.

Among the star-studded list of artists performing, were The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers and indie royalty artists Spoon. Flowers sang “Instant Karma! (We All Shine On),” followed by “Don’t Let me Down” with Sheryl Crow and country star Chris Stapleton.

Prior to the Flowers’ performance, Spoon covered The Beatles classic “Yellow Submarine” and “Hey Bulldog.” The finale brought together both artists, along with Peter Frampton, Eric Church, Aloe Blacc, Pat Monahan of Train, Willie Nelson and Steven Tyler for a performance of “All You Need Is Love.”
