Carpool Karaoke is becoming an internet sensation. The segment featured on The Late Late Night Show with James Corden has the host driving famous singers around, while they enthusiastically belt out tunes and dance like maniacs.
In a recent segment, James Corden picks up Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, who’s looking for a ride to San Francisco to where’s he’s set to play the Super Bowl 50 halftime show this weekend. They sing a sweet rendition of David Bowie’s “Heroes” as well as hits from Coldplay, such as “Viva La Vida”, “Yellow” and “Us Against the World.”
According to an interview done by NME last month, Bowie turned down a request from Coldplay to do a collaboration. Bowie told the band the song wasn’t very good.
You won’t want to miss Martin’s superb Mick Jagger impression either. Click the video above to watch.
