Watch: Dave Grohl Joins Prophets of Rage in Toronto for MC5’s “Kick Out The Jams”

"Make America Rage Again"

Prophets of the Rage consists of Tom Morello, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford of Rage Against The Machine, Chuck D of Public Enemy and B’Real of Cypress Hill, and they performed in Toronto last night.

This is just one of the many stops on their Make America Rage Again Tour. Pitchfork reports that the supergroup promised a surprise to the crowd at the Molson Amphitheater and delivered on that promise when they brought out Foo Fighter’s front man Dave Grohl.

Dave Grohl joined Prophets of the Rage and performed a cover of MC5’s classic song “Kick Out The Jams.” The Toronto Sun reports that the rest of the set list had hits from all them contributing members other acts as well as some of their own original material.
