Watch: Father John Misty Perform in a Paris Restaurant

Accompanied by just a violin, a mandolin, and an accordion, Josh Tillman sings about his wife

The French website La Blogothèque’s Take Away Shows series features artists playing their tunes in public places, sans technological magic.

In honour of his new album I Love You, Honeybear, Father John Misty took to the improvised La Blogothèque stage – a busy Paris restaurant. In a booth of Le Bon Georges, amidst restaurant-goers, Josh Tillman played “I Went To The Store One Day,” a song about meeting his wife in a grocery store parking lot as she looked on.
