Florence and the Machine performed a charity gig last Friday (Feb. 26) at London’s St. John at Hackney Church. The benefit show was in support of War Child, a charity that “empowers children and young people in conflict areas.”
The band played some of their big hits such as, “Dog Days Are Over” and “Shake It Out,” as well a soothing rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s “Silver Springs.” The stripped-back cover included Florence Welch’s haunting vocals backed up by a piano, acoustic guitar and tambourine.
