Welcome to the Jungle (Gym): Toronto is getting an indoor obstacle course

Soon it will be acceptable to spend your days hanging out on the monkey bars again, thanks to the new “alternative fitness space” Pursuit OCR. Moving into a 10,000 sqft space at Queen and Dufferin, Pursuit will be Canada’s only indoor obstacle course designed for adults.

Founded by RedGate Bodyworks’ Wil Mclean and owner of Bolt Fresh Bar, Eddie Chan, Pursuit will be a place for adults to play with 19 obstacles and group classes. The coaches come from diverse backgrounds in martial arts, aerial performance arts, and even Cirque du Soleil. Get to know them on Pursuit’s Facebook page.

Pursuit is planning to open its doors mid-September. A day pass will run you $20 or a 10-class-pass for $150.

Play safe!
