Wheel of the Week: Duck Confit Pizza

A slice of Toronto's best pizza

Wheel of the Week is a series highlighting a unique pie from various pizza joints around the city. Thin crust or thick, extra-cheesy or vegan, this list does not discriminate. Each week, we promise to offer you a unique and highly raved pie from some of Toronto’s best pizza joints.

This week we’re talking about a Toronto favourite, Pizzeria Libretto. Fun fact: Molly Rankin from Alvvays used to work at Pizzeria Libretto just before the release of their self-titled, debut album.

With such an extensive menu of amazing, authentic Neapolitan pies, it was hard to choose between the sweet and the savory. So this week we are highlighting a fantastic gourmet pizza that excels at both. Check it out below.

THE PIE: Duck Confit Pizza
WHAT’S IN IT: Shredded duck pieces, bosc pear slices, rosemary and fresh Ontario mozzarella all on an authentic Neapolitan-style crust (softer in the center with a slightly charred outer crust).
