Here’s Where You Can Watch The Hip’s Last Concert in Toronto

Let the count down begin

After scalpers snatched up most the tickets to the Tragically Hip’s Man Machine Poem tour, CBC announced plans to live stream their final show in Kingston on the Night of August 20th. CBC will be live streaming the show on various platforms including CBC Television station, CBC’s Youtube account and various CBC Radio Stations.

If you are looking for other places to watch the highly anticipated final Hip concert, check the list below of bars that will be airing the televised concert. Head out to one of these local establishments with a friend, and cry and sing your way through this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Exhibition Place

The CNE has just announced that they will be streaming this magical moment in music history as a part of their Bandshell Concert Series. All concerts including this live broadcast are FREE with admission to The Ex.

Bloor Hot Docs

Tickets are free and available in person at the Box Office with a two ticket per person limit. Members can access tickets online.

Carlton Cinema

20 Carlton St.

Carlton Cinema is providing a free live stream. The catch is that you have to grab tickets in person.

Junction City Music Hall

Free admission with donations jars at the bar. All donations will go towards the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research.

Drums N Flats

Horseshoe Tavern

Free admission with Pay What You Can donations being accepted. The donations will go towards the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research.

Folly Brewpub

Graffiti’s Bar & Grill

This Yorkville classic will be streaming the Hip’s final concert on all three levels of their space.

The Revue Theatre

The Revue Theatre will be hosting a game of Tragically Hip themed trivia prior to the show with prizes. Admission is free on a first come, first served basis.

Hard Rock Café
