You Can Now Buy Colouring Books for Adults

STAY WITHIN THE LINES, OR YOU KNOW, DON’T. YOU’RE THE GROWN UP NOW.

Some days a nostalgic blast-from-the-past is a welcome thought. You know, pre Internet, a time where text messages were pay-per-use, and where Mortal Combat for Sega Genesis was as plugged-in as it got.

Colouring books for adults are basically the best thing to happen in 2015, and exactly what is needed to take you back to 1990 (Or 1980, whatever works.)

Mindless creativity is where it’s at! You don’t have to think about what you’re doing – that means no creative roadblocks. The image is already created so the hard part is over. Forget therapy, this is as therapeutic as it gets.

It’s also means common ground between you and any little humans you might have hanging around – they can do their drawing, and you can do yours. Just try not to show off how supremely better looking yours is. That might unwind some of that special bonding time you just put in.

Unplug and whip out that those crayons, because you know your Mom can’t stop you from splurging on the Crayola 120 pack now.
