Standing virtual ovation goes out to the city of Toronto today for FINALLY allowing Toronto Island Ferry users to buy their tickets online. Yes, that’s right, if you’ve ever spent forty-five minutes standing in the blistering sun to buy a to board the ferry then this is great news for you.
Perhaps this is an effort to make things easier after recent events in high-attendance like Bestival forced some passengers to wait hours to buy a ticket and get on board. Now all you need is a computer, an email and a printer to grab you tickets before you head to the port. If you plan on heading to Toronto Island any time soon for a day at Centreville or Camp Wavelength grab your tickets here via the City of Toronto’s website.
