The Right Sound for the Right Price

Dan Auerbach – “Shine On Me”

You may know Dan Auerbach as one half of the Black Keys, but he’s well into his second solo record, which he calls “a love letter to Nashville,” and, well, maybe all that sunshine’s done him good. This track is down right cheery! You have to wait until June 2nd for the album Waiting On a Song, but here’s a tease to bring a skip to your step, “Shine on Me.”

July Talk – “Beck + Call”

Locals July Talk picked up the Juno for Alternative Album of the Year for their excellent record Touch, so why not celebrate and go deeper into the record.

Future Islands – “Cave”

Future Islands’ songs are perfect for your summer soundtracks, so it’s good their new record came out April 7th. As the days get warmer and longer and you’ll take those summer dancing shoes out of the closet! Here’s their latest from The Far Field.

Bishop Briggs – “The Way I Do”

It’s funny to think Bishop Briggs discovered her voice singing karaoke back when she was known as Sarah McLaughlin, (yes that’s her real name.) Her vocals are powerful and definitely have a soulful side particularly in this one.

Sir Sly – “High”

This indie-pop trio from LA who have been getting a lot of attention since their tracks have been featured in a video game trailer and Cadillac ad. The band calls this one “an upbeat anthem about ego death,” I call it potentially the summer jam of 2017.
