Childish Gambino – “Me and Your Mama”

By now you know Donald Glover is going to be Lando Calrissian in the new Star Wars movie, but also, exciting news: new Childish Gambino coming in 2017! AND there is a Prince vibe on this new sneak peek of what’s to come via this new one, “Me and Your Mama.”

The Rural Alberta Advantage – “White Lights”

Let’s get local! The wait is almost over for a new record from The Rural Alberta Advantage. Looks like you’ll get it this summer, the band’s been posting teaser clips of this one all over social media – BUT WE’VE GOT THE TRACK! Here’s brand new RAA “White Lights.”

Mondo Cozmo – “Shine”

Mondo Cozmo is the side project of Eastern Conference Champions singer Joshua Ostrander. He’s a bit of a mystery otherwise, and apparently makes music out of a guest bedroom in east LA. It sounds like he was listening to a lot of Oasis and Dylan in that bedroom.

Maggie Rogers – “Alaska”

Maggie Rogers grew up playing banjo in eastern Maryland. After taking a trip to France and discovering house music, she tried to mix the natural world with beats studying music at NYU. This song was heard by a few million after Pharrell gave it his stamp of approval during a Masterclass YouTube video.

Silversun Pickups – “Latchkey Kids”

Finally, a song for latchkey kids! I don’t know if there’s been one before, so thanks Silversun Pickups! This one’s off Better Nature, the LA bands’ 4th record which proves, yet again, Silversun Pickups are aces at releasing solid, driving tunes with a hint of 90’s nostalgia.
