The market includes performances on the Flying Stage, live music, games with the Christmas Market mascots “Holly and Jolly”, and even a visit to Santa’s living quarters.

The walk-in Christmas tree is lit with more than 36,000 sparkling lights. And kids can even take a ride on the famous Christmas Carousel. Eat and drink to your hearts content, and delight in all the features of the market for 2022!

When Is The Vancouver Christmas Market

This fun and festive market runs from November 12 to December 24. On weekdays, the market is open from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. On weekends, however, you can enjoy this festive experience from 12:00pm to 9:30pm.

Located right downtown Vancouver in Canada Place, the Jack Poole Plaza is a public square that offers the best Vancouver vibes available.

We strongly recommend to take public transit or Uber to the market, as parking is usually a nightmare… and even if it wasn’t, it’ll cost you most of your Christmas money.

Do I Need Tickets?

All single-entry admission into the Vancouver Christmas Market is by date and time. In other words, yes you need tickets.

Because it’s such a popular event, make sure to choose your time slot carefully! You’ll need to arrive within 30 minutes of your chosen time… but keep in mind that you can stay as long as you like.
