5 things to do this weekend in Toronto

This weekend is sure going to blast some heat into this winter.

This weekend’s events are so hot that it will melt the snow.

From drinking some beer to some amazing movies, you are not going to want to stay inside at all. Get out into the sunshine and slush your way through the weekend.

Check out five events you won’t want to miss out on this weekend below.

Toronto Winter Brewfest 2019

Evergreen Brick Works | March 1-3, different time slots | Tickets

Get ready to try some craft beer and good eats, and have a great time at this year’s Winter Brewfest, and the best part is that it’s indoors! There will be over 150 different beers to try and you get a tasting glass to try them all in! Just a few of the breweries that will be there are United Craft Beer, Muskoka Brewery, Black Oak Brewing and The Exchange Brewery, but there will be so many more and there will be tons of food trucks to satisfy those tipsy cravings.

What The Film Festival

The Royal Cinema | March 1-3, 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm | Tickets

This is a film festival like no other. It brings forward so many films that focus on anything but mainstream content, and allows the films that aren’t considered to be “inside the traditional parameters of taste and convention.” It’s a place to shine. With different films each day, you will be able to catch a new one whenever your heart desires.

Catch a Concert

Ready to rock out this Friday night? Mother Mother is here with guests Said The Whale for a killer show at The Phoenix Concert Theatre. Both from Vancouver, these indie-rock bands make some amazing tunes that are so much fun to dance to. If you can’t catch them here, they do still have some dates around Canada that you can go to!

Spend your Saturday night listening to some electronic beats and Norwegian vocal magic. That’s right, AURORA is in town at the Danforth Music Hall this weekend and you do not want to miss it. She released her EP of Infections of a Different Kind (Step 1) and we are patiently waiting for Step 2 to come out this year?? Hopefully??

Drag King Brunch
