Food Truck’N Friday – Season 5 Opening Day

Toronto’s hit recurring food truck event is back! Taking place today, the event is set to feature ten Toronto food trucks in one convenient spot. This week, you can expect to see trucks like Dover Boys, Romi’s Shawarma, Chef Al, Aegean Honeyballs, Gogi 2 Go, Dogg Shoppe T.O, and The 6ix Grillers.

The Wizard’s Brunch & Dinner

You’re in for a treat this weekend, Harry Potter fans, as Hart House is hosting a Wizard’s Brunch & Dinner. The immersive dining experience is a glimpse at the magic world. You’ll be seated at long tables where you can enjoy a wizard’s feast and magical beverages, and guests are even encouraged to dress up for the event! Each ticket includes an extravagant three course meal and all of the entertainment that comes with the day. Additionally, there will be a cash bar available on site.

Catch a Concert

Metric are coming back to Toronto on April 26th to promote their seventh full-length studio album, Art of Doubt, which was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen, whose credits include work with M83, Beck and Nine Inch Nails. They’ll be joined by raucous indie rockers July Talk, who will be bringing their grungy, unique tracks to the giant Scotiabank Arena stage.

Morrissey is hitting the Sony Centre on April 26th and 27th, which will mark his first full Canadian Tour in nearly 20 years. A portion of the proceeds from the show will benefit charities of Morrissey’s choice that support animal rights and organizations that support animal welfare.
