1. CELEBRATE PRINCE IN TORONTO
Seven time Grammy award winner Prince died at the age of 57 yesterday. An autopsy will be performed today to determine cause of death, while there are reports that he was treated for drug overdose just six days ago.
There are a couple celebrations here in Toronto: Bloor Hot Docs will show the movie Purple Rain tomorrow night. Tranzac will have a Prince tribute tomorrow at 10pm, indie bands will be covering Prince songs all night and purple drinks will be served.
2. TTC LATE AGAIN
Bombardier, the company making new TTC streetcars, will miss the delivery deadline again. Last month they promised to send four streetcars a month. So far only seventeen of the more than two hundred ordered by the TTC have actually been delivered.

3. UBER HIRING CYCLISTS
If you are looking to keep fit, have fun and make some money, Uber is recruiting bike couriers to deliver food in Toronto. Cyclists must be at least 19 years old and able to lift thirty pounds.

4. CANADA CLIMATE CHANGE
For Earth Day, Prime Minister Trudeau will join world leaders today to sign the Paris climate change accord. Canada is set to reduce emissions 30 percent by 2030.

5. WEEKEND SUBWAY CLOSURE
Another weekend and another TTC subway line is down, Yay! Shuttle buses will be running while Line 2 Kennedy to Victoria will be closed tomorrow and Sunday.
