1. PRIDE SECURITY STEPPED UP
Toronto will dedicate the Pride Parade to victims of the Orlando shooting. They will also be stepping up security. Early Sunday morning, 49 people were killed when a gunmen opened fire at a gay nightclub. Many late night talk show hosts have now had a chance to address the terrorist attack including John Oliver from Last Week Tonight and Jimmy Fallon.
2. NO SHOOTER AT U OF T
Turns out it was a false alarm at the U of T. The police say there was no person with a gun after getting multiple reports. Buildings were locked down for most of the school day to ensure everyone’s safety.

3. DEMAR DEROZAN FREE AGENT
DeMar DeRozan has reportedly opted out of his contract with the Raptors making him a free agent. This could just be him playing hardball hoping to get a little more coin, but it could also mean that he is willing to leave. DeRozan led the Raptors in scoring this season.

4. LCBO RECORD SALES
A lot of alcohol was consumed in Ontario last year. The LCBO had its best year yet with 5.57 billion in sales. Spirits rose 64%, craft cider was up 54% and craft beer up 35%.

5. More Hip Tickets
The Tragically Hip are selling more tickets for their Man Machine Poem tour this morning at 10AM. “Due to an overwhelming demand for the Man Machine Poem Tour, we have adjusted the show design in each venue to accommodate more seating,” reads a statement on the band’s Facebook page.
