1. NEW KING STREETCAR
The TTC might add a new streetcar to King street. If approved, the 514 Cherry will run on King from Cherry to Dufferin. 65,000 people ride the King Streetcar every day.

2. RACCOON BABY BOOM
Pest control experts warn that a raccoon baby boom is about to happen. The mild winter made Toronto a Mandarin Buffet for squirrels and raccoons. It also left them feeling frisky.

3. GHOMESHI VERDICT
Jian Ghomeshi will be sentenced next week, but don’t expect any cameras in the courtroom for the sexual assault verdict. Cameras will and have not been allowed in court, which is why during the trial many reporters live tweeted.
4. MISSING HONEY NUT CHEERIOS BEE
The bee is missing from boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios. General Mills removed the mascot to raise awareness about disappearing bee colonies as part of the #BringBackTheBees campaign.
The future is finally here. Nike just announced that a pair of self tightening shoes will be on sale by Christmas. Admittedly, these shoes look a lot cooler than the ones Marty McFly wore in the movie Back To The Future.
