1. GHOMESHI SPEAKS
Today Jian Ghomeshi signed a peace bond. The sexual assault charge has been withdrawn. He apologized to former CBC employee Kathryn Borel in court.
Ghomeshi has apologized to complainant in court, calling his behaviour "sexually inappropriate."

3. TICKS IN TORONTO
Ticks with Lyme disease have been found in four Toronto area parks. They include Morningside Park, Cedar Ridge Park, Rouge Park in Scarborough and part of Algonquin Island. Black legged ticks are the ones to be worried about.

4. DISTRACTED DRIVING BLITZ
Put your cell phones down. Toronto Police are kicking off a distracted driving blitz today. So far this year the cops have issued 3600 distracted driving tickets. Last year they gave out 12,000.

5. BEER LOVING PIG RESCUED
Alberta RCMP found an abandoned pot belly pig named Marshall after the Fort McMurray fire. The pig survived on a bowl on beer. The RCMP lured Marshall with some watermelon. He will be reunited with his family soon.
