#WeTheOther is still trending today after CBS listed the Toronto Raptors as “other” in an online poll about who will win the NBA Championship. Mayor John Tory wrote a letter to CBS reminding them that basketball was invented in Canada. The Raptors lost game one, game two is tomorrow in Cleveland.

2. TRANSGENDER RIGHTS BILL
Bill C-16 will make it a hate crime to discriminate against transgender people. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau proposed the bill yesterday. Laura Jane Grace from Against Me tweeted :”Well done. Justin Trudeau. Well done”. Earlier this week, she burned her birth certificate on stage in North Carolina to protest their trans bathroom law.

3. ODOR SUSPENDED
The MLB has handed out a few suspensions after Sundays bench clearing brawl in Texas. Rangers 2nd basemen Rougned Odor is out for eight games after punching Jose Bautista. Jays’ Manager John Gibbons is suspended for three games, because he was chirping the ump earlier in the game.

4. WENDEL CLARKS COTTAGE
Former Maple Leaf Wendel Clark is renting his Muskoka cottage on AirBNB. You can rent the ten bedroom cottage for $5000 a night. He jokes that no mini hockey sticks are allowed in the house. Mustache trimming is allowed but shaving is not, plus zamboni parking is permitted.

5. BURGER KING SPA
The first ever Burger King Spa is now open in Finland. You can order a Whopper while sitting in a 15 person sauna sporting only a Burger King towel. It might sound weird but in Finland spas are a big deal. There is one sauna for every three people.
