1. HOUSE OF COMMONS BRAWL
There was a bench clearing brawl again yesterday but it wasn’t at the Jays game…it was at the House of Commons. While discussing the assisted dying bill, Prime Minister Trudeau accidentally bumped a female MP while on his way to assist the Conservative whip. He apologized after the incident.

2. POT SHOP DISPENSARY CRACKDOWN BEGINS
The crackdown has begun on illegal marijuana dispensaries in the city. The police hand delivered notices to pot shop owners yesterday that quoted unlawful activity affecting the health, safety and security of the community. The police did not say what “action” would be taken.

3. PETER PARKOUR
Toronto’s Spiderman, Peter Parkour, had his busking license taken away. He got tickets for busking too close to an intersection and posing a danger to the public. A couple City Councillors put forward a motion to ban buskers at Yonge-Dundas Square.

5. TETRIS TRILOGY
The budget for the upcoming Tetris movie will be $80 million dollars and they say it will be the first of a trilogy. Do we really need three movies based on an 80’s block stacking game? The project will begin shooting next year.
