1. TRAGICALLY HIP SUMMER TOUR
The Tragically Hip have just announced the Man Machine Poem tour. There will be twelve shows starting in Victoria on July 22nd. With two dates in Toronto at the ACC on August 10th and 12th. They will wrap things up in Kingston on August 20th. This will be the Hip’s final tour since Gord Downie has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

2. DON’T GO DOWNTOWN
The Raptors are going for a game 5 win tonight in Cleveland. The series is tied at two-two. Jurassic Park opens at 6:30. Downtown Toronto will be very busy tonight with Beyoncé at the Rogers Centre at 7 (45,000) Selena Gomez at the ACC 6:30 (20,000).

3. $45,000 COMIC IN TORONTO
A rare copy of the first ever Superman comic has landed itself at a Toronto comic shop. It’s worth $45,000 dollars and you can see it on display at The Beguiling in Mirvish Village.

4. GIANT RODENTS ON THE LOOSE
Be on the lookout for a dog sized hamsters in or near High Park. 2 Capybaras escaped from the High Park Zoo and they already have their own twitter handle.

5. LASER POINTERS AT PLANES
The government has launched a campaign to urge people to stop aiming laser pointers at planes. If you get caught you will be fined $100,000 dollars and could go to jail for five years.
