1. POT SHOP RAIDS
Police raided 45 marijuana dispensaries yesterday. Many are now closed as a result. Owners are being charged for violating zoning bylaws and there are reports that some people got arrested.
I passed a pot shop on Dundas West that was still open at 8 last night and it was lined up around the block. Police will release more details today.

2. RAPTORS DO OR DIE
The Raptors are downplaying a casino visit in Cleveland the night before losing game 5. Someone from the Toronto Sun saw DeMarre Carroll and Cory Joseph both out at 2AM, but the Raptors say that everyone’s sleep schedule is different.
Tonight the Raps host the Cavaliers for game 6 at the ACC. Jurassic Park opens at 8:30. If they win, game 7 will be in Cleveland Sunday.

3. WEEKEND EVENTS/SUBWAY CLOSURE
Line 1 from St Clair West to Downsview is closed this weekend. With showers in the forecast it will smell like wet dog at Woodbine Park for Woofstock Sat & Sun.
Doors Open Toronto is on so you can stay inside and check out some cool Toronto buildings. If you do want to brave the hot and humid weather Pedestrian Sunday’s are back at Kensington Market.

4. NAME THE FOOD COURT
Dufferin Mall wants you to name the new food court that they’re currently renovating. The contest comes with a $1000 prize. You can nominate names online. Matt’s got a few suggestions.
