After the wrap of the five season TV series in 2013 and the success of spin-off series Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad will be returning to the big screen, this time as a movie from creator Vince Gilligan.
Production is reportedly set to start in New Mexico this month, but no details have been revealed about whether it will be a prequel or a sequel to the original show. In fact, it hasn’t even been released if the original actors will be involved at all.

Gilligan will be heading this movie by writing the script, executive producing, and maybe even directing, and executive producers of Better Call Saul, Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein, have also been linked to the film.
While speaking with EntertainmentWeekly earlier this year, Gilligan said that he desperately wants to reunite Walter White and Jesse Pinkman on Better Call Saul, so it’s likely that they’ll be reunited in this new Breaking Bad flick.
