While the Queens Quay tunnel is getting a break from motorists driving onto the streetcar tracks, Toronto drivers are finding creative ways to make us ask “how the hell did this happen?” Over the weekend, a car became stuck between a streetcar and pole on St. Clair West near Spadina.
A TTC spokesperson confirmed one person was sent to hospital with minor injuries. The streetcar also suffered enough damage that it’s been taken out of service. Police are still working to determine how the car came to be wedged between the streetcar and the pole.

Last week, a car ended up submerged in Lake Ontario after a driver mistook a boat launch for a driveway. Never change, Toronto drivers.
