A five-story digital Vincent Van Gogh exhibit is coming to Toronto.
In three months, the Immersive Van Gogh installation will be implemented at a downtown Toronto five-storey building, and it will be entirely inspired by Van Gogh’s post-impressionist artwork. Immersive Van Gogh brings visitors into the creative, yet troubled mind of the famous artist. Upon arrival, you’ll be able to walk through huge projections of some of the artist’s most famous work, including Starry Night, Sunflowers, and The Potato Eaters.

“His paintings will be presented as how the artist first saw the scenes they are based on: active life and moving landscapes turned into sharp yet sweeping brushstrokes,” according to the exhibit.
The Toronto stop marks the world premiere of the show by Lighthouse Immersive, which is the same team who made The Art of Banksy exhibit. The exhibit will sprawl across all 600,000-square-feet and five floors of the building at 1 Yonge Street that used to house Toronto Star’s printing presses as of May 1st, 2020.
