HBO has released a new trailer for season 3 of Succession.
The highly anticipated new season airs on October 17th. Succession will pick up where season 2 left off, when Kendall Roy (Jeremy Strong) refused to take the fall for his father, Logan (Brian Cox). In today’s preview, Kendall trends above tater tots and truly drives a wedge into his family dynamic.
“Ambushed by his rebellious son Kendall at the end of season two, Logan Roy begin season three in a perilous position, screambling to secure familial, political, and financial alliances,” the show’s logline reads. “Tensions rise as a bitter corporate battle threatens to turn into a family civil war.”

Season three of Succession will star Strong, Cox, Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, and J. Smith Cameron. According to Variety, Alexander Skarsgård and Adrien Brody will be joining this new season.
Back in July, HBO shared another teaser for the forthcoming season. Throughout the clip, Kendall gets tons of backlash from Logan, as Shiv (Sarah Snook) bribes Kendall for control of the company. The trailer comes packed with some pretty seering burns from the Roy family members. “You tell him I’m going to grind his fucking bones to make my bread,” Logan says. “Logan is going to fire a million poisonous spiders down your dickie,” Tom tells Greg.
“Are you part of this family or not?” Logan asks Shiv, as she potentially makes plans behind his back to overthrow him. “If I back you against dad, you would need to let me take over,” Shiv tells Kendall.
