Paramount+ has announced a live-action television reboot of The Fairly OddParents.
Nickelodeon’s live-action ‘FAIRLY ODDPARENTS’ series picks up years after the original series ended and follows Timmy Turner's cousin, Vivian Turner and her stepbrother, who are entrusted with Wanda & Cosmo.

The animated Nickelodeon show is getting turned into a 13-episode live-action arc. The forthcoming series is will see Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee reprising their respective roles as Cosmo and Wanda.
The new show will follow Timmy Turner’s cousin Viv and her stepbrother Roy, who inherit Timmy’s fairy godparents. The show will be a mix of live-action and cartoon, with Cosmo and Wanda popping up as cartoons in a live-action world. The pair will return in their quintessential pink and green colours.
Audrey Grace Marshall will play Viv Turner and Tyler Wladis will play Roy Ragland. They’ll star alongside Ryan-James Hatanaka, who plays Viv’s father, and Imogen Cohen, who plays their friend Zina.
The forthcoming show is out on Paramount+ later this year.
The Powerpuff Girls Reboot
If you’re feeling nostalgic, The CW is also developing a live-action reboot of Cartoon Network’s The Powerpuff Girls.
The original animated series aired from 1998 to 2005, and it followed superheroes in kindergarten named Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup. Now, according to Variety, the new series follows three superheroes that have turned into “disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crime-fighting.”
