Currently, if you type www.avengersendgame.com into your browser the URL will point to a landing page for 20th Century Fox’s forthcoming PG-13 cut of Deadpool 2, Once Upon a Deadpool. It’s very odd, considering the Deadpool franchise lives outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the redirection is intentional.
The man who owns the URL is holding it for ransom, hoping to score tickets to the Avengers: Endgame world premiere. Twitter user @AGuyInChair has claimed responsibility for the URL squatting, and has made it clear he’d like to land himself a seat for the Los Angeles premiere. You gotta shoot your shot…

The squatter later tweeted that he could redirect the URLs to @Geeky_Sex_Toys in March if his demands are not met.
“I am proud to say that I bought them both before anyone on the internet theorized that Endgame was the title,” @AGuyInChair told TheWrap. “I really am just a dude, who played a hunch, mainly because my wife wants to meet Thor.”
Avengers: Endgame hits theatres on April 26, 2019. In the meantime, keep an eye on the digital standoff over the film’s most logical URLs.
